烈火焚城:剧情介绍
Plot Summary:Two decades before the story begins, a young girl saves her younger brother from drowning at the hands of their abusive father. The boy watches as his sister and father are consumed by flames triggering within him a psychotic fascination with fire. He brings his new interest in flames to light by burning down the children's ward at the hospital where he was housed. By the time the story begins, the boy has grown into a man and has perfected his arsonist's tendencies. The fire department finds their hands full battling, not only blazes (and Seoul's traffic problems) but a lunatic bent on eliminating those who would stop his fires.
少年犯熙秀结束了12年的监狱生活，形满释放，当他刚走出教导所大门的瞬间，锅炉室引起爆炸。几个月之后在市内的一个药店里发生了不知起因的火灾，在那场火灾中消防队长的弟弟，即消防队员仁秀不幸牺牲。同事们陷入沉痛的气氛中，特别是仁秀的搭档尚宇(崔敏秀)受到很大的打击。 几天之后，在住楼区又发生了不知起因的火灾。尚宇依然加入到救火队里，而他的新搭档贤太对此感到很不安。因为接连不断的火灾整个城市陷入极度的不安之中。警察想极力缩小事故的起因，而调查员民生却坚信那些火灾都是中火犯所为，在他仔细观察火灾现场的时候发现了在哪里徘徊的一个男子....
